Moviesonline.ca released photos of Gillian Anderson from an upcoming issue of Maxim. I foresee a lot of desktop wallpapers changing soon. Gillian in a bustier and heels? Aaaahhhhhh…..

Ever bought a mouse with the extra buttons and other mousy bling, then forgot to assign functions to those buttons? I’ve had this one for months now and totally forgot to take advantage of the extras I paid for.
Really bugs me that I left some junk around the box while cropping. But to be honest, I’m too tired to do anything about it.
Took a trip to Coldstone Creamery a couple weekends ago:
I could practically eat the waffle bowl all by itself. Add Coldstone’s extra-rich ice cream and I’m in hyperglycemic heaven.
The singular of “strata” is stratum, right? So why have I never heard anyone use the word stratum before?
Maybe it’s not really the case. But I’ve always thought men do more and better imitations of sounds and of other people’s voices. IF that’s true, I wonder if evolution plays some part in that. Perhaps the hunters who were able imitate animal sounds were more successful.
But women are generally more gifted linguistically. And better able to discern subtle variations in tone (or whatever) that are sending less overt pieces of the overall message.
From the flexplore group on Flickr:
flexplore analyzes your favorites and people you share them with and tries to recommend photos you might like based on that.
Be aware that it takes a few minutes (at least 13 or so) for flexplore to churn through your own favorites. But the results are well worth the wait. Can’t say that everything flexplore recommended was to my taste. But there were certainly enough to make the application very worthwhile. Many thanks to the app’s author Lars Pohlmann.
